Columbia Heights has experienced a tremendous amount of redevelopment over the past few years. In 2008 DC USA, a 546,000 square-foot retail complex, opened with major retailers such as Target, Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond and Washington Sports Club. Columbia Heights is home to many new popular restaurants, retail establishments, and the Columbia Heights Metro stop.
