Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is one of DC’s most popular residential neighborhoods. This cosmopolitan neighborhood is home to some of the city’s finest museums, historic homes and foreign embassies as well as a variety of ethnic restaurants, bookstores, and private art galleries. Dupont Circle is also well known for its beautiful, white marble Dupont Memorial Fountain designed by Daniel Chest French, who was the mastermind behind the design of the Lincoln Memorial.
