The Palisades is a neighborhood in NW Washington, DC, which follows the Potomac River corridor northwest of Georgetown. With a mix of condos, townhouses and single-family homes, it is a very architecturally-diverse area, and boasts shopping and restaurants along its main thoroughfare—MacArthur Boulevard. Some residents are able to view the Georgetown Reservoir from their homes. While there is no Metro subway stop, there are plenty of bus routes which provide easy access to Georgetown and Upper Northwest.
